What is a Cold Pressing Method?
Omega 3 fish oils produced by the cold pressing methods require that the fish livers are handled with great care from the time the fish are caught. This requires the livers to be frozen promptly at sea. Some species of fish have a different Omega 3 composition in their liver oils to others and this allows blending of these oils to produce a variety of ratios of the specific long chain fatty acids eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic acids (EPA and DHA) according to the health benefit for which they are intended. However, it is the care and handling at this early stage in the process which is vital for the health giving properties and safety of the final product.

Fish oils produced in this manner are totally natural and, in addition to the specific Omega 3 fatty acids mentioned above, contain other natural components of value to health. Similarly, these oils, being in their natural complex form are well tolerated and absorbed by the body.

What is Molecular Distillation?
Molecular distillation facilitates the creation of unique fatty acid profiles. Moreover, we are capable of concentrating fatty acids (from a natural content of approximately 30% EPA and DHA combined) to a product with a content as high as 80% DHA and EPA.
